Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting. Hopefully we can continue on from last Saturday after finding Slow Hands at $8.50.
Rosehill Race Two Number 4 Quick Thinker ($12):
I think Quick Thinker is one of the better gambles on the card, provided the track is genuinely wet, which the forecast says it will be. You look at his wet track form, especially in Sydney, and gee it reads so well for a race like this. Two runs back from a break have been solid and is now getting to a suitable trip. He only runs well to my eye.
Rosehill Race Nine Number 4 Wandabaa ($8.50):
She was a hard luck tale fresh in the Maurice McCarten. The track was forecast to be wet. It ended up being close to a Firm2, then she was back against the track pattern. Did a remarkable job to get as close as she did. Gets a much better set up this time around, and just has to run up to the resumption to win here IMO.
Bendigo Race Four Number 6 Saracen Knight ($12):
There is enough in the form of Saracen Knight to say that he is only effective on tracks that have give in it, so with that in mind, I’m giving a chance here. In the fair dinkum stakes, he was awful first up in the Wangaratta Cup but that was on a firm deck and his record does suggest he hates it. Gets his toe in here and lone run on wet ground in Australia, he bolted up at Caulfield.
Bendigo Race Nine Number 4 Superium ($7):
He has been an enigma throughout his career, but at his best, he is Stakes class. Now with Team Hawkes after formerly being with Joe Pride where he was luckless for the most part, especially last start at Newcastle. His trial was good, he sprints well fresh…if he’s anywhere near right, he wins.
