Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Randwick Race One Number 12 Perfect Darling ($41):
Perfect Darling is a well bred filly for John Sargent that is on debut and I think she has to command some level of respect. Has had two trials to prepare, the latest seeing her run a close up third behind the well performed stablemate Readily Availabull. Tricky draw on paper, but looks to have gate speed.
Randwick Race Three Number 5 Katgully Red ($23):
Think this Highway is wide open, so looking for some value and think it lies with Katgully Red, who is second up here for Jenelle Butler. Resumed over 1000m at Muswellbrook on a very testing track and worked home quite well between runners in the inferior ground behind Snitzari. Better suited on top of the ground, draws soft and does have good Highway form from prior efforts.
Randwick Race Eight Number 6 Cradle Mountain ($18):
I think if ever Cradle Mountain is going to win another Stakes race, this is it. He won this race last year when dominating from the front with a rating of 92 and he comes here with a 94 rating, so isn’t badly in. Resumed at this track/distance and to the eye was terrible but was found to have made an abnormal respiratory noise post race. Subsequent trial was quite good and would love to see an aggressive, hopefully dominating from the outset.
Randwick Race Nine Number 8 Guise ($12):
Guise is a second up winner for Chris Waller and up to the mile I see as a positive. Resumed over 1400m at Warwick Farm where she was a bit flat footed when the sprint went on but picked up and was good late. Think once she gets to 2000m she’ll be far more effective, but can sneak a first four spot here.
