Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Eagle Farm Race One Number 17 Pace Stick ($14.00):
I’d love a market push with Pace Stick. Think he’s the best horse in the race and resuming first up in town tells me he’s ready to go. He has looked city class since day one but I think Brett Dodson is a bit unsure as to what his best trip is. He has won twice at 1200m, but for me he’s always looked a 1000m horse, at metro level anyway. If he’s right, I think he has the brilliance to win.
Eagle Farm Race Three Number 6 Plumaro ($16.00):
I reckon the key to Plumaro is finding genuine give in the track, so the forecast for rain would be music to the ears of Kevin Kemp and I think she can take this race out. Been a while between wins prior to last start at the Gold Coast where she found a bottomless track and lapped it up, spanking her rivals. Doubt we will get bottomless here, but track will have juice in it.
Eagle Farm Race Six Number 10 Elaborate ($15.00):
Happy to speck Elaborate at a price with the likelihood of a wet track. Just got too far back at Randwick two weeks ago but liked the way he finished his race off against the pattern of the day behind the in form Gone Bye. Won’t know himself with 54kg and with a positive ride, I think he’ll run a big race, knowing that he has been set for the Magic Millions Stayers.
Eagle Farm Race Eight Number 4 Chapter And Verse ($23.00):
Chapter And Verse is teasing to win one. Was warming up late fresh in the George Moore before going to the Lough Neagh where he was back off the speed and again, warming to the task late behind impressive winner Soxagon. 1400m at Eagle Farm looks a great set up and think he’s worthy of an each way ticket.
