Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Randwick Race Two Number 13 Live And Loaded ($8.00):
I think Live And Loaded is a really good gamble here, provided we get each way odds. Former Kiwi for John O’Shea that created such an impression when winning at his Australian debut in a Kembla maiden before going to a Class One mile during the Scone Carnival where he was too far back in a fast run race, but his late splits were great. Eats up 1800m here…little bit concerned with an out of form jock steering, but the horse has enormous upside.
Randwick Race Three Number 11 Princess Cordelia ($15):
Princess Cordelia is a previous Highway winner and I reckon Mitch Beer has her around the mark for another crack. Slow to recover first up at Warwick Farm when ridden far too warm behind Jay Jay D’Ar. Then was freshened up back to 1000m at Albury and produced a really good split between the 600m-200m, but just knocked up late. Hard fit now, back up to 1100m, sitting off a good speed, she’s worth an each way ticket.
Randwick Race Four Number 11 The Guru ($27):
The Guru is a handy up and comer for Theresa Bateup that won narrowly but in good style two back over 2000m at Kembla before racing over 2000m here a fortnight ago and he overachieved I thought in a really good effort behind Stockman, finishing third. Racing well, tough, in form…hard to beat I suggest.
Randwick Race Eight Number 12 The Lion ($46):
Throw at the stumps in the shape of The Lion, who steps up to 1200m after racing over 1100m on the Kenso track last time out when back off the speed and working home pretty well late in the piece. He is proven at Randwick on wet ground, so that’s the big tick for him, and he has a gate to do no work and launch late.
