Over The Odds – Saturday’s Horse Racing 4/6/2022

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.

Rosehill Race Two Number 7 Dalavin ($20):

Dalavin looks the map horse. Brett Robb trained gelding that ran over 1100m at Mudgee last time out where he was wide with cover but unfortunately was forced wider on the turn while the eventual winner was on speed and kicked clear. This horse should get run of the race from the draw and only run well.

Rosehill Race Seven Number 4 Skyman ($9.00):

He hasn’t won in a while, but Skyman has a bit on these I feel, especially with the 3kg claim for Dylan Gibbons. His Victorian form reads very well for this, with efforts behind the likes of Ayrton and Mankayan, who are both proper Stakes class animals, Ayrton a Group/Group l talent. Normal luck and he’ll be too good.

Morphettville Parks Race One Number 9 More Reward ($51):

I want to give More Reward another chance. Was with her when she debuted last Saturday at Murray Bridge and it was just a nothing run, where she got back and just never got involved. Jumped on the bunny in the jumpout leading in and looked very good so not penning her just yet, and her late splits were solid relative to the race. Up in trip, right down in the weights, happy to have her each way.

Flemington Race Five Number 5 Yulong Knight ($31):

Yulong Knight is worth an each way ticket. Rob Blacker trains this very genuine gelding, who ran at the midweeks at Sale last start when specked at a price and looked home after sitting on speed, only getting nabbed on the peg by Nasraawy. Proven down the straight and I think gets in pretty well after the claim.
