Over The Odds – Saturday’s Horse Racing 2/7/2022

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.

Sunshine Coast Race One Number 9 Badoosh ($8.50):

Badoosh is hard to beat against this lot. Matty Dunn trained gelding that comes here a few weeks between runs since a closing third to Bartholemeu Dias at Eagle Farm in a good effort. Tick over trial last week was a good piece of work and he should be strong at the end in a race where there are question marks on several key chances.

Sunshine Coast Race Five Number 17 Extremaarty ($8.00):

Extremeaarty is an Annabel Neasham trained Extreme Choice colt that is first up and I think can be dangerous. He was heading down the Magic Millions path when last in work but after failing in the Gold Nugget he was sent to the paddock. Liked his recent Gold Coast trial win and has a touch of class on his side.

Sunshine Coast Race Six Number 5 Bartholemeu Dias ($10):

Bartholomeu Dias should appreciate the rise to 2400m. Annabel Neasham trained gelding that surprised most with a win over 1800m two back at Eagle Farm. He then went to the Ipswich Cup where he was forced to make his run nearer the inside, which wasn’t the spot to be, so a total forgive. Big track, 2400m, he’ll take beating.

Sunshine Coast Race Nine Number 11 Moonan Me ($21):

Moonan Me is a Brian Smith trained mare that resumes. This girl hasn’t raced since Jan 22 at Doomben where she got back in the run and was good late behind Roman Aureus. She’s a good fresh horse, so keen to see she goes first up in a solid race. Market will be a good guide.
