Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue on from last Saturday when finding Royal Tudor at $8.
Warwick Farm Race Four Number 4 Jor El ($20):
Bit of a throw at the stumps here with Jor El, an I Am Invincible colt for Gerald Ryan. He did everything wrong on debut at Canterbury behind Prague so forget he went around there. That form was ticked off last Saturday and his trial last week at Rosehill was very sharp, both to the eye and on the clock, and on breeding, should handle the ground.
Caulfield Race Two Number 9 Frondeur ($8):
Have always had time for Frondeur and think she can measure up here. Debuted with an electric maiden win at Moe before being spelled with the Autumn in mind. Resumed against the older horses at Pakenham and admittedly was in the A1 ground, but still rattled off impressive relative late splits to win again. Good test here, but you don’t know how good a horse is til they are beaten.
Caulfield Race Four Number 9 Valaquenta ($16):
Valaquenta does look the one at silly odds. He didn’t smash the clock when winning on debut at the Valley, but keep in mind he was held up for a long period of the race and not sure the Valley suited him, but class got him home. Bigger track looks perfect for him, as does a rise in trip, and for mine, he’s the clear value.
Caulfield Race Eight Number 1 Avilius ($11):
Would love a drop of rain to hit the track, but I think the class of Avilius gets him just about home. Resumes for James Cummings after a mixed Spring, where he did win the George Main but for the most part was disappointing. Outstanding trial last week and if Lane can take advantage of gate three, gee I think he’ll run a beauty.
