Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find a runner from each city that appears overs in betting.
Flemington Race One Number 3 Extra Zero ($19):
Flemington specialist and finds a very winnable race. He might be rising 11 years of age, but he is still racing so well and competing quite strongly. Comes through the Easter Cup where he had market support at odds and ran on okay late in the piece behind Observational. Saves his best for Flemington and this is a very winnable assignment.
Rosehill Race Seven Number 11 Happy Hannah ($9.00):
Back on a firmer surface, I had her nearly favourite here, not nearly double figures. She has been crying out for a dry track and she finally gets it here. Her three runs this time in have been good but not as good as we know she can produce. 2000m on a dry track is her go I think and if she brings her best here, she’ll take a power of beating.
Gold Coast Race Seven Number 1 It’s Somewhat ($3.70):
Market has this clearly wrong IMHO. I had him marked down $2.50 and shorter. Aided by the bias, but the record will say that he is a Doncaster winner, an all the way Doncaster winner, something that is only saved for top class gallopers. Brisbane has always been the target for this horse, so perhaps the Doncaster was a bonus. The one to beat.
Morphettville Race Seven Number 5 Viddora ($14):
I’m stunned that Viddora is $14 to win this. She should be nearly half that price. High quality mare for the Lloyd Kennewell yard who was given a peach of a ride by Chris Parnham last time out in the Irwin and once she got the run, it was game over, beating home a serious Goodwood contender in Ilustrious Lad. That reads pretty well for this, she draws well again and regular rider Bowditch is back on.
