Formerly with Patrick Payne. Made her debut for Matty Dunn over 1400m at the Sunny Coast three weeks back and gee was very impressive. She ran over 1400m, went up the inside, which wasn’t the A ground, yet finished off powerfully to win. She was proven beyond 2000m when with Payne, so the Randwick 1800m looks ideal. $11 looks a silly price.
Doomben Race Seven Number 4 Mishani Sleuth ($4.80):
Banking on the fact that Care To Think runs at Randwick. Quality four year old for the Chris Anderson camp who comes through the 2YO/3YO Plate last Saturday where he was no match for Prioritise but gee his last 200m was outstanding given where he was. The rise to 1350m is perfect and I like that he is backing up.
Doomben Race Eight Number 8 Lifesaver ($17):
Silly, silly, silly price for a horse loaded with potential. Should be single figures in my eyes. Matty Dunn trained four year old who is two for two and really has the potential to be a Stakes performer. Did win those two races to kick off his career and it was all on raw ability. Trial was very encouraging and I am keen to see what he does here.
Flemington Race Four Number 2 Killarney Kid ($5.50):
Keen to back this Flemington 2000m specialist. Loved his effort here a fortnight back when working home hard against the tempo behind stablemate Pacodali. Getting closer to peak fitness now, the Flemington 2000m is his fav track/distance, has the upside…one to beat for sure.
