Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Rosehill Race One Number 3 Girls Are Ready ($10):
1080m-1400m in the space of eight days is a little concern with Girls Are Ready but she’s clearly got the class to beat these. Talented filly for Joe Cleary who was a notable drifter in betting first up last Friday on the Acton track at Canberra but I thought she found the line well enough and was a definite pass mark when third to Newtown Is Coming. Fitter, has class and given her record, she isn’t badly treated at the weights.
Rosehill Race Three Number 6 Mapmaker ($12):
You can’t go wrong backing Mapmaker each way. Thought he was unlucky not to win two back here when fourth to The Avenger before backing up a week later on the Kenso track and stuck on gamely in defeat when third to I Am Vinnie. 1500m at Rosehill is his A1 set up and would love to see him ridden aggressively, leading and dominating proceedings.
Rosehill Race Six Number 4 Sweet Thomas ($26):
German import who is an eight year old and on paper, brings over some classy German form lines in terms of races, but noteworthy that the last two runs, there has been 25 subsequent runs for just two placings, so that tells me the form is awful. But the trials have been outstanding. I’m banking on a change of scenery and training methods bringing out the best in him.
Rosehill Race Nine Number 11 Super Star Bob ($51):
Resumes for Matty Dale. He had a mixed Spring/Summer prep, running well for the most part, but not winning. Has had a good spell and gee his recent trial win at Moruya was sharp. Pat Scorse couldn’t have held him any slower. His best can measure up here for sure.
