Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find a runner from each city that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue from our success with Sweet Fire last Saturday.
Flemington Race One Number 4 Ready Sunshine ($10): – Bet Now
Supido is just ridiculously short at $2, so I think the value clearly lies with Ready Sunshine at $10. His effort last Saturday at Moonee Valley was excellent behind Runsati, closing off strongly late. He draws the inside, and usually at the start of the day, gate one down the straight usually isn’t an issue. He looks great overs.
Rosehill Race Five Number 2 Hierarchal ($34): – Bet Now
$34? Really? He is a Derby horse who closed off strongly in the Spring Champion (2000m) behind Vanbrugh. I’ll concede 1400m is well short of his best, but he has a touch of class and there is no way he should be the rank outsider.
Doomben Race Six Number 2 Oak ‘N’ Arthur ($12): – Bet Now
This son of Markane has been pretty good in two runs this time in. He is a proven city performer, and the forecast for rain will be music to his ears, because he hasn’t missed a place in four wet track efforts. Price will be halved if we strike a heavy track.
Morphettville Race Two Number 6 Sawaiki ($3.30): – Bet Now
I’m going to pump up my tyres and say I got the opening price of $4.20…now into $3.30, and in all honesty, I think he should be odds on. He is a blueblood being out of the Group l mare Aloha, so on breeding alone, he should be good, but his latest trial was just Black Caviar like in terms of how easy he did it. I’d happily take even money. Should spank this field, so the $3.30 is overs for mine.
