Over The Odds 3/2/2024 – Saturday’s Horse Racing Value Tips and Bets

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.

Rosehill Race Two Number 3 Cenotes ($8.50):

Cenotes is flying for Colt Prosser and for mine, is hard to beat against these. Had specking first up at Randwick and just looked in need of the run behind Gallant Star before going to 1400m here two weeks ago where he was a real eye catcher late in the piece behind Bon Frankie. Third up, hard fit, a rise in distance and if he can settle closer in the run, he’ll take holding out.

Rosehill Race Nine Number 9 So Good So Cool ($10):

So Good So Cool will jump near the bunny and take running down. He got back off the speed in the Union Army race from three weeks back and while he was never really a threat, he found the line quite well to finish third. Stable absolutely flying, lands on speed (hopefully) and will be strong at the end.

Caulfield Race Five Number 10 Bullet Wing ($18):

Bullet Wing is third up from a spell for Ben Brisbourne and should just about be at peak fitness. He attempted to lead throughout three weeks ago over 1400m at Flemington and he did give a strong kick but just couldn’t quite see it through, run down late by the in form Vagrant. Hard fit now and strikes another winnable race.

Caulfield Race Eight Number 2 Rich Fortune ($7.00):

1200m I think is a trip 2 Rich Fortune has been crying out for. She has lacked change up speed her past two but has been strong to the line each time, the latest over 1100m at Geelong four weeks ago, suggesting a rise in trip will suit and with a likely genuine tempo in front, that will ensure Rich Fortune will get every chance to finish over the top.
