Over The Odds – 29/9/2018

Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.

Randwick Race One Number 12 Press Week ($126):

Doubt she wins, but I think she’s worth something small each way at the price. Has only had the one trial, which came at Newcastle, and gee I thought she went very good, better than some of the fillies who trialled in Sydney. Did a bit wrong late, hence the lugging bit going on, gets gate one and finds C Williams. Definite watch.

Randwick Race Two Number 10 Krameric ($8.50):

No real standout here, so I think he’s the overs. This colt trialled last Monday at Randwick where he was run off his legs early but once balanced up and those in front steadied, I really liked the way he closed off, which followed a sharp trial win a couple of weeks prior. Looks a lovely type and I think he’ll be strong late.

Randwick Race Three Number 8 Mickey Blue Eyes ($6.50):

The serious overs is gone, but I still think the $6.50 is fine. The Hayes/Dabernig team trains this three year old, who was very good in his opening prep, most notably a second to Graff on debut. Given a good spell and resumed at Bendigo where he was a notable drifter but I loved the way he knuckled down late to get the win. The mile looks perfect and right down in the weights, he’s likeable with upside.

Randwick Race Six Number 9 Maid Of Heaven ($11):

I have it as a race in two between this girl and Miss Fabulass so have to take the $11. She had a minor setback so she went into the Tea Rose fresh and I thought she was the best run behind Miss Fabulass, especially her last 75m when attacking the line with purpose. The only way she was going to threaten is if she drew a good gate and she has. Game on.
