Over The Odds – 29/6/2019

Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.

Sunshine Coast Race Six Number 11 Zavance ($13):

She looks a great bet does Zavance. I think Team Snowden has this filly absolutely flying and is finally getting out to a trip. Has been really competitive at the 1400m-1500m distance range at her past couple but has found it too short, but attacked the line with real purpose, the latest two weeks ago behind Nicci’s Gold. Now out to 1600m on the big track, really keen on her.

Sunshine Coast Race Eight Number 13 Snitch ($21):

Snitch is absolutely flying for Tony Gollan I think. He was three weeks between runs when contesting the Eye Liner and I thought his run was very good when fourth to Man Booker given he drew barrier one and I’m not sure that was his right set up. 1400m on a bigger track and hopefully outside horses will be more to his liking and I reckon he’s a decent each way gamble.

Rosehill Race Four Number 13 Celtic Love ($21):

Marc Conners trains this mare, who was specked at the big odds when racing over 1500m here a fortnight ago where she got back in the run before coming very wide in the straight and finishing off hard when third to Nicci’s Gold, producing the best late splits of the race. Can sit closer in the run from the draw, gets the claim for Weir and this race last year, she should have won but had no luck.

Rosehill Race Five Number 4 Doukhan ($8.50):

Getting on in years for Kris Lees but his 3200m form is just better than these. Two back was very good in the Sydney Cup behind Shraaoh before being freshened up and racing over 2400m at Randwick when back with the 62kg and he was never a winning threat behind Fanciful Toff. Two miles, give in the track, weight relief…he looks well placed.
