Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue on from last Saturday where we found Notio at $8.50.
Rosehill Race Two Number 7 Carillon ($8.00):
Craig Martin trained gelding who strung together a couple of sharp wins prior to racing in a Highway here a fortnight back over 1400m and you could make a very good case he should have fought the finish out, getting no luck in the straight when seemingly bolting. Has to be respected and for mine is the overs.
Rosehill Race Seven Number 8 Most Exalted ($8.00):
I think he should be favourite. Mack Griffith trains this bloke, who comes here off the back of a mile run at Randwick on Cup Day where he got well back in the run but finished off okay late behind Danzie. His form is a tad misleading at 2000m. Both runs at the trip and beyond he’s been on wet track and he hates them. 1900m record is very good, but the key to him is dry tracks.
Ballarat Race Seven Number 10 Wenner ($18):
Handy son of Written Tycoon for the Kenny Keys stable who resumed on Kyneton Cup Day where he was on speed all the way and fought on well but just seemed to run out of puff late when third to Smart Coupe. Really good second up record and tends to save his best for the 1400m. Definitely worth an each way ticket at near $20.
Ballarat Race Eight Number 7 Luvaluva ($7.50):
Is she back to her best? Luvaluva was racing for her career last time in the Matriarch at Flemington and she redeemed herself with a close up third to Kenedna. The negative is that the race was run at a farcical tempo but the big tick is that despite being outsprinted, she came again and surged. If she improves off that, she’s a clear threat.
