Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue on after finding Redkirk Warrior last Saturday.
Rosehill Race One Number 5 Paret ($3.70):
Very confident in this horse. He debuted last Wednesday at Canterbury and though the margin was only narrow, you had to love the way he put them away and did it without really being fully extended. Really good test here, but he does look a potential blacktype performer.
Rosehill Race Three Number 3 Majestic Pedrille ($6.00):
Not surprised by the early support because the $7 was too good and I think the fav is rock bottom. Mark Schmetzer trained mare who did a really good job to win two back at Taree during their Cup Carnival before going to Muswellbrook where she was hard in the market and tried her guts out but just couldn’t finish it off and had to settle for second. Think she is looking for further so the 1500m is ideal and she does have upside.
Caulfield Race Eight Number 2 Kenedna ($27):
Not so much to win, but more so the $7.50 for the place. High class mare resuming for the Weir camp. She had an amazing prep last time in, running right through Summer/Autumn/Winter, ending in the Queensland Oaks behind another star mare in Egg Tart. Haven’t seen a recent jump out, but she seems the type of horse that doesn’t need much work to be forward.
Caulfield Race Nine Number 13 Jamaican Rain ($3.20):
I’m happy to take the $3.20 on offer. Very promising mare for the Richard Laming yard who has bolted up in both runs this time in. Heavily backed first up at Cranbourne and duly saluted before going to the Parks track in Adelaide where she won like Black Caviar under Jamie Kah. Toughest test to date, but I’m confident she can measure up. The big thing here also is that Jamie Mott, a known heavy weight rider, is down to ride at 54kg.
