Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue on after finding Zamex last week.
Doomben Race One Number 6 Veranes ($9.50):
I think she’s a rather filly price at near double figures. Had three runs to kick off her career in the Summer in order to qualify for the Millions. Was close up behind Outback Barbie and Meryl but didn’t get in and was tipped out. Been given a good break and her Gold Coast trial last week was more than encouraging.
Doomben Race Five Number 8 Sacred Rebel ($14):
Very open race and I can make a case for this horse. Tony Pike trains this quality looking gelding, who made his Australian debut on a bog at the Sunny Coast over 1200m where he chased a hot speed and I thought he did a really good job to get the win because the leader was hard fit and well backed. 1350m looks ideal and should have natural upside.
Doomben Race Six Number 4 Anton Ev Avant ($10):
Can we trust him? I think the answer is yes. Yep, he won the Chairmans at $151 and we all thought, nah, no way he can produce a run like that again. But he did it next time out in the Brisbane Cup when second to Sedanzer. He has the form on the board and isn’t badly treated at the weights. He should be single figures.
Doomben Race Eight Number 3 Daysee Doom ($14):
I think this race is all about 3 Daysee Doom and how she is going. If she’s right, I think she wins. She’s the best filly/mare in this race by a mile and her form just reads far superior to this lot. Had a four run Autumn prep, highlighted by a courageous and gutsy win in the Coolmore. Trialled up very nicely last week, she’s tough, reliable and a bomb when produced fresh. She’s at crazy odds at $14.
