Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Randwick Race One Number 4 The Tenor ($7.50):
Kris Lees trains this colt, who was well backed when debuting over 900m at Newcastle and he was pretty bomb proof in winning, leading throughout under Avdulla and he did it without really being fully extended. Time was quicker than the other 900m on the day, which is a good sign, and he looks to have plenty of room for improvement. Much rather back $7.50 each way this horse than even money Plague Stone.
Randwick Race Three Number 5 Ombudsman ($2.50):
Should be clearly odds on. Three year old trained by Chris Waller who gave them a caning at this track/distance a fortnight back, confirming he is a 2400m horse given there were question marks leading in. Now that he has ticked the box, I think he can go right on with it and rates highly. Not up against much here.
Randwick Race Seven Number 5 Sir Plush ($7.50):
Thankfully we’ve got an each way price. Now just to navigate the draw. Convinced he’s at his best when produced early on in a prep, as we saw last campaign. 1100m first up looks ideal and has been tuned up with a couple of trials, both trials seeing him not really extended. Dry track, fast pace, he looks well suited.
Randwick Race Eight Number 4 Single Bullet ($5.50):
Looks a race in two between this horse and Bandipur and I’d much rather $5.50 this one than $2.50 the other. Son of Not A Single Doubt that resumes for the Gary Portelli team and we know the talent is there, but he just hasn’t put it together on race day. They’ve tried him out as a Stakes horse but he hasn’t measured up, so he’s been given a good break and I thought his trial at Warwick Farm was encouraging enough to suggest he’ll run well fresh.
