Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find a runner from each city that appears overs in betting.
Ballarat Race Two Number 8 Aurelius Hero ($34):
This is a silly price for a handy horse. He ran on Ararat Cup Day and was a real closer late against the track bias towards speed runners when fourth to Chapel Road, who goes around later in the program as a leading chance. Gets really good weight relief here and gets the services of Ben Allen, the leading Victorian apprentice. He’ll run a ripping race IMO.
Rosehill Race Five Number 2 Inz’n’Out ($10):
He isn’t in my top three and is a bit of a money muncher, but gee that $10 price is appealing. Just forget he went around last time out at Canterbury given he was back in the ruck and just had too much to do. He is better when ridden closer to the tempo and James Innes Jr is a very good rider at horses near the speed.
Eagle Farm Race Six Number 18 Deitch ($51):
I can just about guarantee this horse won’t be starting $51. He hasn’t raced for five weeks since running a game third at Doomben to Delightful Feeling, who of course franked the form by winning at Rosehill. He’ll roll forward from the wide gate and the 3kg claim for Tiff Brooker is a big tick.
Morphettville Parks Race One Number 5 Carusmatic ($7.00):
Gee I thought she would be a lot shorter in the betting. Debuted down the straight during Cup Week and though started long odds, I thought her effort in defeat was pretty solid and the form out of it has held up. There’s no world beater and stable has had recent Group l success. Draws a soft gate, Creighton steers…should clearly be shorter.
