Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Rosehill Race Two Number 3 Smartedge ($7.00):
Thought he’d be a point or two shorter. Smart Missile gelding for Team Snowden who resumed on Anzac Day at Randwick where he got back off the speed but looked to travel well. Ducked and weaved his way through but ran out of puff late when third to a potential Group horse in Cradle Mountain. That’s good enough for this.
Rosehill Race Four Number 2 Coup De Main ($3.60):
Thought he’d be a clear favourite over Bocelli but that horse holds the call which does surprise me a touch. Looks a very good three year old for Danny Williams who is 2/2 to start his career. Debuted with a strong win over 1280m at Orange before stepping back to 1200m at Wagga when leading all the way and did it very nicely after some solid market support. Harder here, but his racing pattern is very likeable.
Rosehill Race Five Number 8 Solo Mission ($4.80):
Gap between he and Roman Son looks far too great. This bloke doesn’t have the brilliance of Roman Son, but he has enormous upside and you just had to be impressed with his Australian debut win here a fortnight back. Did plenty wrong in the run, looked at sea, but he still finished best and won impressively. He’ll eat up 2000m and for mine is the better betting option.
Rosehill Race Six Number 3 Manolo Blahniq ($3.50):
Why is he not favourite? Quality four year old who resumes after a pretty good Summer/Autumn prep where he finally put it all together. Has promised to be a good horse for some time and though he is better suited over 1400m, he has the quality to beat these, and the trial at Cranbourne was very good.
