Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Rosehill Race Two Number 2 Libran ($3.90):
Surprised he isn’t fav to be honest. He had trialled up well behind the great mare Winx prior to resuming behind her in the Chipping Norton and for a 3200m horse, he ran about as well as expected behind the stablemate, finishing fourth, eight lengths away. He scored a barnstorming win second up last prep and looks primed to do something similar.
Rosehill Race Six Number 6 Octabello ($35):
I took $11 and $26 all in for him, so the $35+ is painful but I’ll have a peanut each way. Mick Price trains this colt, who had a solid Spring Carnival but really had no luck for the most part. He resumes here with two jumps out and a trial under the belt, whereas last prep he had one jump out and one trial, so that tells me he’s wound up to win first up.
Gold Coast Race Three Number 6 Lay Down The Law ($14):
I can’t believe the price he is. David Pfieffer trains this ten year old, who is racing really well at the moment despite his age. He ran over 1250m at Canterbury last time out and I thought he stuck on really well in defeat behind Catesby. He is a swimmer so any give in the track is ideal and up to 1300m on the big track is a tick.
Cold Coast Race Eight Number 7 Pelethronius ($7.50):
1550 back to 1200 isn’t ideal but with a likely wet track, he should take some beating. He ran over the 1550m at Canterbury last time out and he wasn’t given much hope by the ride, sitting wide throughout when fifth to Quick Defence. Hard 1200m on rain affected ground will suit.
