Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue on from last Saturday after finding Sandbar at $8.50.
Newcastle Race One Number 4 Mr Reckless ($10):
Just a fair resumption fresh at Warwick Farm behind Pancho in what has turned out to be an excellent form race. He then came back to 1500m at Rosehill two weeks ago and surged hard, just missing out on the win when a narrow second to stablemate Asterius. Up to 1850m and third up, he should just about be at peak fitness.
Newcastle Race Three Number 14 Denmiss ($15):
This mare doesn’t win out of turn, like most here, but she tries hard and I think the key to her is a cold ride. That was the case last start in the Guy Walter at Goulburn and I really liked the way she found the line against the pattern of the day behind All Sassitude. Soft gate, the claim for Dolan, good tempo in front…I think she’ll only run well.
Newcastle Race Five Number 6 Indy Car ($6.50):
Outstanding debut winner at Newcastle here before going to the 1400m at Rosehill two weeks ago where Tommy rode for luck and he got none when fourth to Rule The World and I think you could easily make a case that he should have won. Up to the mile, fitter, and with clear air early, I think he’s a leading chance.
Newcastle Race Seven Number 4 Miss Fabulass ($9):
Miss Fabulass is flying. Just hasn’t really had a chance to show that this time in. Eased back from the wide gate in both runs back from a spell, each at 1200m at Randwick. First up was beaten under two lengths by Signore Fox before going to the Nivison and worked home very well late in the piece behind Madam Rouge. If she can sit closer in the run and be within range on the turn, she’ll take some beating, especially with a good tempo set by You Make Me Smile.
