Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find a runner from each city that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue on from last week where we found Secret Agenda at $12.
Caulfield Race Seven Number 16 Boomwaa ($10):
He isn’t the most reliable horse going around but he does map quite well here so I will include him. Has had four runs this time in, the latest coming down the straight at Flemington when finishing down the track behind Rich Charm. He is much better than that and better around a bend. Looks the leader and has run well at Caulfield previously.
Randwick Race Seven Number 7 Jungle Edge ($16):
Jungle Edge has been the story of the Autumn. Caused a near massive boilover in the Galaxy when a narrow third to Russian Revolution before backing up seven days later and bolting up in the Star Kingdom. Been a while since he has raced at 1400m, but he does get speed favours and is an absolute swimmer, so the wet track is a big tick. $16 looks a crazy price.
Doomben Race Five Number 9 Candika ($2.40):
I think the market is wrong here. I have her clearly favourite. Very good filly for Steve O’Dea who was five weeks between runs when racing over 1200m here three weeks back and despite those negatives, her class got her home late and she was strong through the line. Will only improve with the run under the belt and the rise to 1350m, plus is thrown in at set weights.
Oakbank Race Eight Number 7 Fine Mist ($12):
Fine Mist is a Paul Murray trained mare that trialled well at Warwick Farm prior to resuming in the Manihi where she did a stack of work from the wide gate to sit on speed and she was still in the race with about 150m to go but just got tired late when a two length eighth to Karlovasi. Really good second up record and provided she doesn’t do as much work here as she did first up, she’s a knockout hope at odds. I had her clearly single figures.
