Over The Odds – 15/9/2018

Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue on after finding Mandylion at $6 last Saturday.

Randwick Race Four Number 2 Brave Smash ($8.50):

I can’t believe the price gap between he and Redzel. Darren Weir trains this bloke, who resumed a fortnight ago in the Heath at Caulfield where he was tucked in behind a slow speed, pulling a fraction in the run but was solid enough in defeat behind impressive winner Ball Of Muscle. Coming to Sydney and Bowman booked tells me there is intent to win, plus the recent jump out win was sharp.

Randwick Race Five Number 11 Kaonic ($7.50):

I think he’s the overs but he’s a dual acceptor (sigh). Not quite convinced yet he’s back to his best but in saying that, I have been impressed by his two wins this time in, both at this track/distance. Lovely ride from Sam Weatherley got him home first up before Bowman jumped on and lifted him late to edge out Shogun Sun. Bit more depth here, but being third up, should be ready fitness wise.

Randwick Race Seven Number 10 Miss Fabulass ($8.00):

Forgive a good horse for one below par run. Too classy first up in a Canterbury maiden prior to racing in the Furious where she was a notable drifter in betting and ran accordingly, just racing a touch flat behind Pure Elation. I think up to 1400m third up will suit her ideally and she can definitely win.

Randwick Race Eight Number 4 Libran ($7.00):

The gap between he and Avilius is just far too great for mine. He’s absolutely flying this time in. Resumed in the Winx Stakes and produced some of the best late splits behind the great mare before going to the Chelmsford where once again his late splits were outstanding behind Unforgotten. That’s the right form for this and third up, he should be ready to go.
