Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Doomben Race One Number 2 Anton En Avant ($8.50):
Did get to $11 today, so no surprise to see him firm this afternoon. He comes through the race won by Mr Epic here a fortnight back and I thought his effort was quite good. Got back in a race dominated by those near the pace and though he never really looked likely, he was making ground. He has the upside and I think he can turn the tables.
Doomben Race Five Number 17 Rogali ($21):
Already assured a start, so I’m a bit surprised he has drifted. On the seven day back up here after racing last Saturday at the track/distance and really, if you backed him, just forget it. Sorry I brought it up. He went around as if it was a barrier trial, so he really hasn’t had the hard run to query the back up. Right in this for sure IMHO.
Rosehill Race Five Number 8 Argent D’Or ($10):
Had him marked around the $6-$7 mark so the $10 on offer appeals big time. On the seven day back up after racing at Randwick last Saturday where he didn’t really have the smoothest of runs in transit but I thought he stuck to the task really well in defeat behind Mana. I like he is on the quick turnaround and 1350m is ideal.
Flemington Race Seven Number 10 Manuel ($13):
At the price, you have to have a ticket on him at the price. I find it very interesting that he runs here instead of the 70 race. That must speak volumes of how highly the stable rates this bloke. Forget his Lightning run a fortnight back. Track was bordering on heavy and he couldn’t pick his feet. Hopefully back on top of the ground here, he can show his best.
