Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Randwick Race One Number 1 My Tagosan ($11):
Pulled up lame fresh in a Highway behind Toulon Brook. Then went to Scone and worked home well from the back before racing over 1400m at Dubbo last Friday where he just had far too much to do, but worked home well. Reckon some give in the track will be perfect and the step up in will be beneficial.
Randwick Race Three Number 6 Star Reflection ($17):
She’s a bet here Star Reflection. I think she’s a really good each way gamble. She resumed over 1200m here three weeks ago where she had a decent run off the speed before being presented wider on the turn and in the straight, she loomed to win, but her condition just gave out late. Big tick up to 1400m, fitter and if we get the rain and a wet track, she comes right into play.
Randwick Race Eight Number 2 Sesar ($13):
The horse who I think is overs here is Sesar for Team Hawkes. The stable are masters at getting a stallion ready for a big race and I think they’ll have this galloper primed for the Golden Eagle. His best races have come when racing clockwise, so if you take the anti-clockwise runs out, he’s three from seven, and his best racing also has come on wet ground, which is what he gets here. Trialled without the blinkers and to my eye, that’s the best he’s trialled without them. I think he’ll run very well.
Randwick Race Nine Number 13 Malea Magic ($15):
I think there’s a decent each way speck at odds here in the shape of Malea Magic, who resumes for Bob Milligan. This mare had a pretty good Winter prep, winning two of four, the two wins coming at the start of the prep. She then was two lengths off them in the Ramornie before making ground in a Mares city race behind Stella Sea Sun. Resumes without a trial, but has residual fitness, she flies on wet ground and with a stack of speed engaged here, she’ll get her chance.
