Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find a runner from each city that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue on after finding Violent Snow ($26) and Zamex ($3.20) last week.
Flemington Race Four Number 4 Shoreham ($23):
In a very open race, I think this horse represents sensational value at that quote. Ran over 1800m here first up and was very good late behind Northern Journey before racing over the 2040m at the Valley last Saturday where he was good late between runners behind Gallic Chieftain. Flemington 2500m looks perfect and he has upside.
Randwick Race Three Number 10 Can’t Skate ($126):
Not so much the win, but $26 for the place looks worth a decent speck. Handy mare for Greg Dury who can perform well when she’s on song. First up last time in, she arguably should have won a Highway at Rosehill. If they go hard in front, she will be the one charging.
Doomben Race Four Number 7 Raiment ($3.90):
Really keen on this filly to bounce back hard here. I was all over her first up in the Glenlogan Park a fortnight back but she let me down badly behind Eckstein but I think she was one of many who just really struggled on the surface. Her form prior and the trial leading in was outstanding. Back on top of the ground here, she’ll take some beating.
Morphettville Parks Race Three Number 1 Honey Steel’s Gold ($2.20):
All things being equal, he is a $1.50 pop, maybe shorter. He ran in the Australian Hurdle at Sandown a fortnight back where he looked to jump well and was good, but Renew is a star, so no match there. This is a big drop in depth and provided he jumps cleanly, he wins.
