Michelle Payne is long odds to be reunited with Prince Of Penzance for a shot at consecutive Melbourne Cups.
Payne voiced her anger, on social media, after connections sacked her for the gelding’s return to racing in the Memsie Stakes.
Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au rates the hoop a $26 chance to regain the ride on Prince Of Penzance in this year’s Cup.
Payne is $1.15 not to ride another Group 1 winner and $21 to add to her tally.
Racing Victoria is allowing jockeys to take out a trainers licence and Payne is expected to take up the opportunity.
However, she is $1.50 to continue riding and $2.70 to hang up her saddles. Payne is $5.00 to train a winner on debut.

Obviously injuries have played a part, but she has only ridden a handful of city winners since the Cup.
