Nature Strip is a heavily backed short priced favourite at Flemington
A slot in The Everest is on the cards for Nature Strip should he win the Creswick Series Final (1200m) on Saturday at Flemington and punters are keen to take the shorts.
The Darren Weir trained colt had his first run for the stable a fortnight back down the straight over 1100m and he gave the course record a nudge in bolting up. Has to tick the 1200m box, but admittedly isn’t up against much hence why $1.50 was put up. That’s been taken, largely in multis, and is now at $1.40.
Sun Quan was the only other runner at single figures but with heavy investment on Nature Strip, he’s been pushed out to $10. Bel Sonic is on the next line of betting at $12.
