Muramasa short odds in the Bagot Handicap at Flemington on New Years Day

Muramasa heads the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the Bagot Handicap (2800m) this Wednesday at Flemington in what looks an open contest.

The Busuttin/Young trained gelding was good in defeat in the Pakenham Cup last time out and just missed out on the win behind Goldman ($4.00 – $4.20) and looks suited up in trip with added fitness. He sits at $2.90.

Goldman is on the second line of betting, with Newfoundland at $5.00, a half point clear of Interpretation.
