Cherry Tortoni has opened at the head of markets in the Tulloch Stakes

Cherry Tortoni and Favreau are equal favourites with the TAB in the all in market for the Tulloch Stakes (2000m) this Saturday at Rosehill.

In what has turned out to be a red hot form reference for the Australian Derby in recent years, a couple of quality three year olds share the top of the betting. Cherry Tortoni was not suited at the Valley last time and should get a better set up on the weekend whereas Favreau is in form and ticking along beautifully towards the Derby. They sit equal at $4.50.

Young Werther, who beat Cherry Tortoni home at the Valley, is next best at $5. The Frontman, who has done little wrong since coming over from NZ, is a $6 chance.
