Melbourne Cup start on the line in the Andrew Ramsden Stakes

Last start Stakes winner Splendiferous is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the Andrew Ramsden (2800m) at Flemington this afternoon.

The WaterBott trained mare comes into this off the back of a dominant win last Saturday at Morphettville in the Port Adelaide Cup and is down in the weights. She holds the most money in the race, but has been soft in the flucs, out to $4.20 from $3.90.

Through Irish Eyes is rock solid at $5, just sitting behind the very soft Point Nepean, who is $4.80 out from $3.70. Warning ($8.50) and Luncies ($5.50) are both hard in the market.
