Viddora is the heavily backed Winterbottom Stakes favourite
The Winterbottom Stakes (1200m) at Ascot this Saturday looks as if it will be dominated by the mares and that is reflected in the market.
Viddora is the defending champion from last year and appears spot on to win her second straight. She heads the market at $2.60 and has firmed after opening $2.80.
The mare that appears at silly odds is Enticing Star. She was the boom horse prior to her flop last start, where she was in season. $7 seemed silly and rightfully has tightened into $6.
The specking at longer odds has been for Profit Street ($51-$34).
