The Antler Luggage Plate (1400m) at Flemington on Saturday looked a good race on paper and it lived up to it, and with that being the case, the TAB all in market for the Caulfield Guineas (1600m) got a decent shuffle.
To the eye, Brutal was nothing flash in winning but he got the job done and firmed to $5 after opening $6, remaining favourite for the stallion making race. Runner up Leonardo Da Hinchi was $26 but is now $11, Declarationofheart, who was a real eye catcher from the back, is $15 in from $26 while Good ‘N’ Fast is $26 after being $51.
Ragged Rascal, an impressive winner of the Heritage at Randwick, was $301 prior to Saturday but is now at $101.
