Randwick Race Four Number 2 Sacramento ($2.80):
A few of these are likely to also accept for the Canberra Cup so could be a nightmare to sort out, but as it stands now, Sacramento is poison odds. Yes, three on the bounce and a great effort, but relative to what he faces here, he has beaten nothing. Nice horse, racing well, but I suspect he’ll be displaced as favourite soon.
Flemington Race Three Number 5 Odeum ($2.10):
I think the market will take a set against her. She is the most progressive and did run Shout The Bar to a lip in the Empire Rose, so some level of a tick to measuring up against older horses, but she is first up and for the most part in the Spring, she didn’t exactly smash the clock. I think the $2.10 is rock bottom and think she’ll drift towards $2.50-$3 come jump time.
