Randwick Race Three Number 6 Written Beauty ($1.40):

I’m not saying she can’t win, but I don’t think this race is a put in/take out job. I’m keen on Spaceboy running well and if they ride him aggressively, this will be a proper 1000m contest and this filly comes into this with just one soft trial win under the belt, albeit an impressive piece of work. I couldn’t get near her at $1.40, especially with a query on genuine wet ground as well. She can win without me on and I’ll be backing Spaceboy each way.

Randwick Race Nine Number 6 Blaze A Trail ($3.80):

I think he is a winning chance, but $3.80 is poison. I’m not sure how strong that race was he comes through from three weeks ago and his best figures have come when the track is dry. If this track is genuinely wet come Saturday, say the worst side of a Soft5, heading into a Soft6, then I think he is a clear risk at the price. I’d want $8+ before diving in because the depth here compared to Rosehill is far greater.
