Randwick Race One Number 1 Parksville ($3.80):

A win here and I would say he secures a Kosciuszko slot. But, the 1200m box against some handy types has to be ticked. He did win impressively over the trip on Country Championship Qualifier Day at Coffs Harbour, but that was on his home track and the depth was thin. Good test here, drawn a touch awkwardly with the weight, I think he’s a risk.

Randwick Race Nine Number 13 King Of Sparta ($5):

The set up just looks awful for him and not sure he should be favourite. He was a very impressive winner at Kembla, but have to keep in mind he had the A1 run in transit and the race was set up for him. Drawn terribly here, will be spotting them a decent start…have to take him on.
