Moonee Valley Race Two Number 3 Brazen Boy ($3.20): He looks a nice horse, but there is a bit of depth to this field and Phillip Stokes did pour cold water on him prior to the Merson Cooper days before he was a scratching behind the barriers. Personally, I like The Globe at $9.50 and suspect she will firm in, so think Brazen Boy will get to $4+ come jump time.

Moonee Valley Race Five Number 5 Nicolini Vito ($3.70): I thought it was just a win when he won here last time out. It wasn’t a strong field and he only just got there. Now he’s favourite in a Stakes race? Think the likes of Deep Speed and Alleboom bring stronger form lines so at the price, think this guy is a clear risk.
