With 2 days remaining before the 2010 Cox Plate we take a look at some of the betting moves of the entrants, So You Think has by far been the best backed runner and is now into $1.45 to win back to back Cox Plates. There has also been some smaller bets placed on Shoot Out who has firmed from $14 into $12 although this could be due to the passing of Stathi Katsidis during the week.
So You Think will go into the race as the very short odds on favourite on Saturday with money continuing to come for the last start Turnbull Stakes winner. So You Think opened in the market at $1.65 at the start of the week and has now been shortened to $1.45 and will most likely start as the shortest Cox Plate starter in history.
Trusting has seen some decent specking at his current odds of $26 although it looks like no one is willing to bet around the favourite.
Second favourite More Joyous has also been easy in betting with concerns about whether she was going to start in the race or not, her current odds are $7.50 out from $6.
If you like any runner around the favourite then you will get great odds although all the money for the race has come for the favourite with only small each way bets being placed on other runners.
