The Murray Baker-trained It’s A Dundeel is attracting the bulk of early support at Sportingbet.com.au to win Saturday’s Group 1 Ranvet Stakes at Rosehill Gardens.
It’s A Dundeel ($3) takes on Melbourne Cup champion Fiorente ($2.60) in a blockbuster clash between two of Australian racing’s superstars, but it’s the four-year-old that has caught the early interest of punters.
“Four of our top five biggest bets so far are for It’s A Dundeel and the other one is actually for Foreteller,” Sportingbet.com.au’s Andrew Brown said.
“If this trend continues then It’s A Dundeel will start favourite on Saturday but in saying that, we do expect the public money to come for Fiorente closer to start time.”
“It’s A Dundeel is unbeaten in three starts second-up and he defeated Atlantic Jewel second-up last time so Fiorente is going to have to dig deep to run him down.”
Foreteller is a $9.50 third favourite at Sportingbet.com.au in front of Hawkspur ($11), Carlton House ($12) and Silent Achiever ($13).
