Punters were quick to back Catalyst following his impressive trial
Punters only had to look at one trial before snapping up the early odds about star three year old Catalyst in the all in market for the Australian Guineas (1600m).
The Kiwi trialled at Matamata and looked outstanding in winning the trial, beating home Te Akau Shark. He is all but confirmed to run in the CS Hayes en route to the Australian Guineas and punters were quick to take the $8. He’s now into $5.
Alligator Blood, who was a super winner of the Magic Millions Guineas on Saturday, is the $4 favourite. The one that has drifted is Dalasan, who is now at $9 from $6 with the support for Catalyst.
