An untried four-year-old has been the subject of two massive bets in the Jeff Englebrecht Racing Stables Maiden Plate (1100m) at Wyong today.
Two $20,000 wagers have been placed on the Team Snowden-trained Oyster Bay in the second race on the Wyong card.
The first of two $20,000 bets was placed on Monday with a TAB punter taking the short price of $1.35.
Following the first wager, Oyster Bay touched the short odds of $1.33 before drifting back out to $1.55.
The $1.55 on offer didn’t last long with another $20,000 wager placed with the TAB, shortening the mares odds to $1.45.
Oyster Bay meets just 4 rivals in the 5 horse field and is coming off a 1.5L win in a 900m Rosehill trial earlier this month.
