RACE ONE
Saif went around as one of the popular commodities in the Schweppervescence (1400 metres).
Just one of two horses responsible for six-figure holds, Saif ($6.50-$6) was a losing result for TAB and went around with more money than anything else bar the favourite, Conrad ($3.60).
Conrad was responsible for 31 percent of the total investment.

RACE TWO
Shared Ambition defied the betting drift to lead throughout in the XXXX Neville Selwood Stakes (2000 metres).
Opening the day at $3.40, Shared Ambition jumped a $4.60 third pick but still went around as the second most popular runner in terms of money held.
Master Of Wine ($2.20) was very costly after holding over half the total investment and being heavily leveraged through multis.

Yaletown made it successive leaders to get the job done, this time, in the Signace Tulloch Stakes (2000 metres).
Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott combined with Tim Clark with Yaletown ($6-$4.80) who was one of the noted firmers in the race.
Cherry Tortoni held the bulk of investments though and was three times as popular as anything else in the event.

RACE FOUR
The market was spot on in the Canadian Club Emancipation Stakes (1500 metres).
Nimalee was backed from $5 into $4.20 eq favourite with a flood of money coming late for the Matthew Smith-trained runner.
As a result of the support for Nimalee, Krone ($2.90-$4.2 eq fav) went for a bath in betting while Greysful Glamour ($10-$5.50) was the most notable firmer.
In the end the punters were spot on with the quinella pairing the best tried runners outside Krone.

RACE FIVE
Signore Fox had good support throughout the afternoon to take out the E Group Security Star Kingdom Stakes (1200 metres).
The Team Snowden-trained galloper was backed from $10 in the morning and bottomed out at $6.50 before starting an $8 chance.
Stablemate California Zimbol was the one carrying most of the money though. In fact, it was responsible for 40 percent of the total investment.
California Zimbol ($4.20) was three times as popular as the winner.

RACE SIX – VINERY STUD
Hungry Heart was kept solid in betting for the Group One Vinery Stud Stakes (2000 metres) throughout the day.
Hovering around the $6 mark for most of the afternoon, Hungry Heart was the third most popular runner in the race behind Personal ($5.50) and Harmony Rose ($2.70-$2.30).
Harmony Rose commanded the lion’s share of investments and went around with almost four times the amount of money that the winner carried.
Personal, an $8 chance when markets opened on Wednesday, bottomed out at $4.60 today.

Sir Dragonet was up and down for most of the day prior to the running of the KIA Tancred Stakes (2400 metres).
The Cox Plate winner was $5.50 in the morning and bottomed out at $4.40, however, got back out to $5.50 at the start of the race.
The entire was the second most popular runner in the race behind Melody Belle ($6).
Mirage Dancer ($10) had plenty of money riding on it at the eachway odds while the same applied to Angel Of Truth ($7).

RACE EIGHT
The money was spot on in the ACY Securities Doncaster Prelude (1500 metres).
Yao Dash was well tried throughout the day and although not the most popular runner in terms of money taken, did the job for his backers.
The Waterhouse & Bott runner went $4.60-$4.20 on the day with only Rock ($4-$4.60) holding more. In fact, that galloper was twice as popular as anything else in the event.
Subedar ($6.50-$5.50) had plenty of money riding on him too.

Despite being a drifter, Najmaty was the best tried runner in the Catanach’s Jewellers Redoute’s Choice (1100 metres).
The Team Snowden runner was $2.50 out to $3.10 on the day but still went around with 36 percent of the total investment.
Sliders ($5.50-$3.90-$4.20) was the best mover in the race.

Hang Man had plenty of admirers at the eachway odds for the running of the Easter Cup (2000 metres).
The Mike Moroney galloper opened the day as a $10 chance and by the time the race jumped, $7.50 was on the table.
Persan ($3-$3.90) nearly defied the betting drift to land plenty of big bets. The fav went around nearly twice as popular as anything else.
Le Don De Vie ($5.50-$4) was also a strong push today.

Mr Quickie ($7) went around with 20 percent of the total investment.
