The William Haggas-trained galloper was fourth most popular in terms of money held and jumped a $6.50 chance.

Sacramento ($4.20-$5) went around as the most popular runner and accounted for just under 33 percent of the total investment.

Quick Thinker ($10-$8.50) and Dadoozdart ($8.50-$6) were the others that were well tried throughout the afternoon.

BETS: Sacramento $1,000 @ $5 MULTIPLE TIMES, $1,900 @ $4.60

BETS: Dadoozdart $2,000 @ $6.50

RACE THREE

On top of that, the Annabel Neasham-trained galloper incredibly held nearly five times what any other runner in the Group One did.

BETS: Mo’unga $2,000 @ $2.90, $4,000 @ $2.80, $2,500 @ $2.80, $12,000 @ $1.50 Place

RACE SIX

Think It Over’s win in the Group One The Agency George Ryder Stakes (1500 metres) wasn’t totally unexpected despite the big odds.

Kerry Parker’s stable star was backed from $41 in the morning to start at $26 after bottoming out at $23.

Funstar ($5-$4.40-$4.80) had strong backing all day and was the most popular runner in front of Avilius ($$4.20-$5) which lost favouritism to the former only late in betting.

Mizzy ($15-$10) was a quiet firm throughout the day.

BETS: Funstar $1,100 @ $4.60, $2,000 @ $4.40 MULTIPLE TIMES, $1,200 @ $4.40

RACE SEVEN

Stay Inside ($4.80) went around as the second most popular runner in the Longines Golden Slipper (1200 metres).

The Joe Pride galloper led throughout with Nash Rawiller and was hovering around the $5.50-$6 mark for most of the day before jumping at the former quote.

Haut Brion Her ($4.40-$3.30) was easily the most popular runner and held three times the money that the winner did. She was responsible for 39 percent of the total investment.

BETS: Eduardo $5,000 @ $6.50, $5,000 @ $6

BETS: Haut Brion Her $5,000 @ $4, $3,000 @ $3.90

Jarrod Fry dictated terms on the Deanne Taylor-trained runner to land the money.

The Stylish opened $14 this morning and consistent support throughout the day saw it come into $6.50 at the jump.

Need New Friends ($2.50) was very costly to favourite backers after holding well over 50 percent of the market.

RACE SEVEN

Punters were on top after the Bendigo Guineas (1400 metres) after the very popular Annavisto got the cash.

Ridden by Jamie Kah, Annavisto ($2.50) held the lion’s share of investments and held three times as much as any other horse.
