RACE ONE
Isotope was the best backed horse all week and delivered the goods for punters in the irresistible Pools & Spas Darby Munro Stakes (1200 metres).
The Queenslander was $6 on Wednesday and actually bottomed out at $2.90 yesterday before starting a $3.50 favourite.
Isotope held twice as much as any other runner in the event.

RACE TWO
Favorite Moon was pretty solid in betting throughout the day in the XXXX N E Manion Cup (2400 metres).
The William Haggas-trained galloper was fourth most popular in terms of money held and jumped a $6.50 chance.
Sacramento ($4.20-$5) went around as the most popular runner and accounted for just under 33 percent of the total investment.
Quick Thinker ($10-$8.50) and Dadoozdart ($8.50-$6) were the others that were well tried throughout the afternoon.

RACE THREE
She’s Ideel was pretty costly in the Roadwork Solutions Epona Stakes (1900 metres).
Going around with well over half the total investment, She’s Ideel ($2.60-$2.30) was four times as popular as anything else in the race.
Attention Run ($10-$8-$8.50) was tried at eachway odds while Polly Grey ($5.50-$6) actually held the most money outside the favourite.

RACE FOUR
Verry Elleegant and Addeybb dominated the hold in the Ranvet Stakes (2000 metres).
Between the pair of them they commanded 70 percent of the total investment.
Addeybb ($2.20-$2.60-$2.15) was heavily tried in the final 20 minutes of betting after peaking at $2.60.
Verry Elleegant, which overtook Addeybb for favouritism briefly, got to $2.80 at the jump but still attracted her fair share of big bets.

Mo’unga was a terrible result for TAB in the SKY Racing Rosehill Guineas (2000 metres).
One of the best backed runners anywhere across the country, Mo’unga ($2.90 fav) went around with just under half the total investment.
On top of that, the Annabel Neasham-trained galloper incredibly held nearly five times what any other runner in the Group One did.
The Elanora ($34-$15) was one that was tried at a price while Lion’s Roar ($7) and Montefilia ($7) were the best tried outside the fav.

RACE SIX
Think It Over’s win in the Group One The Agency George Ryder Stakes (1500 metres) wasn’t totally unexpected despite the big odds.
Kerry Parker’s stable star was backed from $41 in the morning to start at $26 after bottoming out at $23.
Funstar ($5-$4.40-$4.80) had strong backing all day and was the most popular runner in front of Avilius ($$4.20-$5) which lost favouritism to the former only late in betting.
Mizzy ($15-$10) was a quiet firm throughout the day.

RACE SEVEN
Stay Inside ($4.80) went around as the second most popular runner in the Longines Golden Slipper (1200 metres).
Although carrying plenty of big bets, it was Profiteer ($4) which went around with twice as much money as the winner.
Four Moves Ahead ($6-$7-$5.50) was third best in that regard just in front of Artorius ($9.50-$8).

Eduardo landed some big bets despite being third best in terms of popularity in the Bisley Workwear Galaxy (1100 metres).
The Joe Pride galloper led throughout with Nash Rawiller and was hovering around the $5.50-$6 mark for most of the day before jumping at the former quote.
Haut Brion Her ($4.40-$3.30) was easily the most popular runner and held three times the money that the winner did. She was responsible for 39 percent of the total investment.
Tailleur ($4.60) was the other one that punters rallied to while Wild Ruler ($7.50-$9) got the blows late.

RACE THREE
Punters went bang! with Starry Legend landing countless bets in winning the Vobis Gold Rush (1000 metres).
The John Sadler galloper opened $2.25 earlier in the week and today jumped at $2.10. Overall, the son of Zoustar held commanded the market with 60 percent of the money riding on him.
Starry Legend was one of the most popular gallopers all day.

RACE FIVE
The Stylist pulled off a handy betting move when leading throughout in the Catanachs Bendigo Gold Bracelet (1400 metres).
Jarrod Fry dictated terms on the Deanne Taylor-trained runner to land the money.
The Stylish opened $14 this morning and consistent support throughout the day saw it come into $6.50 at the jump.
Need New Friends ($2.50) was very costly to favourite backers after holding well over 50 percent of the market.
RACE SEVEN
Punters were on top after the Bendigo Guineas (1400 metres) after the very popular Annavisto got the cash.
Ridden by Jamie Kah, Annavisto ($2.50) held the lion’s share of investments and held three times as much as any other horse.

RACE EIGHT
One of the best backed runners all day was Ironclad in the Golden Mile (1600 metres).
Going around with 56 percent of the total investment, Ironclad was smashed from $2.60 into even money.
Such was the weight of support for the Will Clarken runner that is was nearly six times as popular as the runner-up, Platoon ($5.50).
