Big Parade landed some nice bets when impressively taking out the Ranvet Handicap (1200 metres).
The Mark Newnham-trained galloper was $3.50 when markets opened on Wednesday and $3 was still available this morning. Bottoming out at $2.80, the gelding would jump $3.20 and the third best supported runner in the race.
All Time Legend was a big drifter all week. Installed the $2 favourite earlier in the week, he went $2.70-$3.90 on the day but still went around nearly twice as popular as anything else.
BETS: Big Parade $1,304 @ $3.30, $1,700 @ $3.10, $1,200 @ $3, $1,000 @ $3 MULTIPLE TIMES
RACE THREE
Ziegfeld was very costly after going around with the bulk of the money in the Drinkwise Premier’s Cup Prelude (2000 metres).
The Godolphin runner was a hot $2.15 favourite and held more than four times what any other horse did.
Laure Me In ($5-$5.50-$5) was very solid for most of the day and held the most money outside the favourite.
BETS: Laure Me In $1,000 @ $5 TWICE
BETS: Ziegfeld $2,000 @ $2.20, $2,500 @ $2.15
RACE FOUR
King Of Sparta was easily the best tried runner heading into the Precise Fire Handicap (1200 metres).
Jumping $3.90 favourite, the Peter & Paul Snowden-trained runner held 27 percent of the total investment and was a losing result for TAB.
Of the others, Selburose ($8) and Island Bay Boy ($17-$9) were specked while Bacchanalia ($5) had plenty of admirers.

The most popular runner in The Agency Spring Preview (1400 metres) was Frosty Rocks.
The first horse backed when markets opened on Wednesday, Frosty Rocks had been installed as a $4.80 chance at that stage but was crunched into as low as $3.20. Getting back out to $3.80 today, Frosty Rocks still held more money than anything else although it was fairly competitive in the popularity stakes.
Gaulois ($6-$9.50) drifted on the day but attracted good eachway investments while Order Again ($5) held solid support.
Oscar Zulu ($5-$4.20) was the big firmer on the day.
BETS: Frosty Rocks $1,200 @ $3.50, $1,000 @ $3.50, $1,700 @ $3.10, $10,000 @ $3
RACE EIGHT
Tiger Of Malay proved a horror result for TAB after it got the photo in the Darley Up And Coming Stakes (1300 metres).
Punters were all over the Richard & Michael Freedman-trained galloper despite it going $2.70-$3.20 on the day. Such was the weight of money on Tiger Of Malay that it was the only one to hold six figures with TAB and was responsible for a tick under half the total investment on the race.
BETS: Tiger Of Malay $6,000 @ $3.40
BETS: Concocted $1,000 @ $5.50
CAULFIELD

Ingratiating came from last to land some good bets in the Vain Stakes (1100 metres).
The son of Frosted was $3.20 in the morning and peaked at $3.40 before getting back into $3.20 at the jump.
Going around as the second most popular galloper in the race, Ingratiating was responsible for just over 20 percent of the money but only held just over half of what Generation ($2.50-$2.15-$2.25) did.
Overall, Generation and Ingratiating were the only two runners to hold six figures on TAB Fixed Odds and they were responsible for 65 percent of the total investment.
BETS: Ingratiating $5,000 @ $3.30, $2,466 @ $3.20
RACE SEVEN
