Punters with online bookmaker sportsbet think if anyone is going to beat Pierro in Saturday’s Hobartville Stakes at Rosehill it will be less fancied stablemate Proisir.

Pierro has eased from $1.80 to $1.85 but remains a well backed favourite, however the other Gai Waterhouse trained colt is the next best backed runner and has firmed from $7.50 into $6.50.
Last start Royal Sovereign winner Rebel Dane is solid second pick at $4.20, with It’s A Dundeel ($26) the best supported of the roughies.
“While Pierro has eased slightly, he has still been the best backed horse in the race. Proisir is also a class colt and with the Gai factor it’s not surprising there has been a move for him,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.
Punters have also rallied behind another short priced favourite in All Too Hard. The Cox Plate runner-up is $1.28 for the Group 1 Australian Guineas at Flemington.
There has also been support for last start winner Sheer Talent and Hvasstan, both priced at the big odds of $31.
