Punters were quick to back Hartnell to win Saturday's PB Lawrence Stakes
Punters have already latched onto one when it comes to the feature at Caulfield this Saturday, the PB Lawrence Stakes (1400m).
Old warhorse Hartnell has a fabulous record at the Caulfield 1400m and generally runs well first up. As much as $6.50 was offered all in earlier in the week. He opened $5 Final Field and punters snapped that up quickly, with the Godolphin veteran now into $4.20.
Star mare Mystic Journey is the favourite at $1.85 but punters are on weather watch with her given the stable dodged the previous first up assignment due to a wet track. Next best in the market is Cliff’s Edge at $7.
