Profiteer and Stay Inside looked like they were going to have a good battle as to who will start favourite in the Golden Slipper (1200m) and while that is the case with Sportsbet.com.au, there has been good specking for a couple at odds.
That one at odds has been Kalashnikov, the Black Opal winner. While that race hasn’t been the strongest Slipper form reference in recent years, punters think he can run a big race at odds. Opened $61 and is now into $35, which is the same fluc for Rocket Tiger.
Profiteer ran second in the Todman while Stay Inside had little luck in the straight. The early market suggests that could be the right form for this. Profiteer is favourite, clearly, at $3.80, ahead of Stay Inside at $4.80.
Sweet Embrace winner Four Moves Ahead is the pick of the fillies and is another that has been well tried, sitting as a $6 chance, and despite drifting from $4.80, the support has been sustained going back to last week.
