Phaistos is favourite in a wide open Festival Stakes at Rosehill

Despite being beaten as a short priced elect last time out, Phaistos has opened favourite with Sportsbet.com.au to bounce back to winning form in the Festival Stakes (1500m) this Saturday at Rosehill.

The James Cummings trained gelding was disappointing as a $2.40 favourite in the Sale Cup but back to Sydney on a dry track, he’s expected to bounce back. He heads the market at $5 and has been popular, in from $5.50.

Outrageous, an impressive first up winner on Melbourne Cup Day at Flemington, is on the second line of betting at $5.50 ahead of Through The Cracks at $6, who has eased a half point.
