Godolphin and James Cummings have been on a roll in recent times in Melbourne and punters expect that to continue in the Zeditave Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield this Saturday.
They have the very talented three year old Piracy lining up. The son of Exceed And Excel is first up but has trialled up really well in Sydney and the punters are on. He opened $6 but has firmed at every call, now into $4.60.
If that trend continues, he could take over as favourite ahead of Overshare ($4-$4.20), who has eased due to the support for Piracy. On the next line of betting is I Did It Again ($4.60-$5).
There has been a sprinkling of each way money roll in for Plutocracy ($12-$10-$12), who was luckless first up.
